Dani Arndt, Messo-Soprano
Dani Arndt, born in Salerno, Italy, currently completing her degree in Music Education at Cleveland State University. She has sung choral works with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, Blossom Festival Chorus, Opera Circle, and for many churches in the Cleveland area including Old Stone Church, Trinity Cathedral, and St. John the Evangelist Cathedral. She has sung solos with the Stow Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland State University Chamber Orchestra, Cleveland State University Wind Ensemble, and the Cleveland State University Chorale.
Jason Baboryk, Bass

Jason Baboryk is currently the Ford Middle School choir director for Berea City Schools. He is very excited to sing with Cantores Cleveland for this concert. He is currently a member of the Saint John Cathedral Choir and has previously sung with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.
Evan Bescan, Tenor
Evan Bescan earned a Bachelor of Music from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, along with a methodology diploma from the Kodály Institute in Kecskemét, Hungary. Evan currently serves as a chorister at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland and as a member of Quire Cleveland. Evan is a full-time elementary/middle school music teacher at Stockyard Community School in Cleveland.
Donna Fagerhaug, Soprano
Donna Fagerhaug holds a Master of Arts in Church Music from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and a Bachelor’s of Music from the Conservatory at Capital University, both in Columbus, Ohio. Locally, she sings with Apollo’s Singers, and is a charter member of Quire Cleveland. She was a member and frequent soloist with the Cleveland Lutheran Acapella Choir of which she also served as an Assistant Director. She is the soprano soloist and section leader at Lakewood Congregational Church.
Gene Karlen Tenor
Gene Karlen, tenor, has served as professional tenor soloist in churches in the greater Cleveland area and is currently a tenor sectionalist at Trinity Cathedral. Mr. Karlen has also been involved in musical theatre productions all around Cleveland and in recent years he has joined ensembles at the Chagrin Valley Theatre. He will debut with his cabaret troupe "Vocal Trespass" this summer at Cain Park.
Gregory Heislman, Bass
Gregory Heislman holds a B.S. in Music Education from the University of Akron and a Master of Music in Choral Performance from Cleveland State University. He is currently the Music Director at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Cleveland, and is the Cleveland Diocesan Consultant on Music. Formerly, he taught music at St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, and has held music directorships at St. Peter (Cleveland), Resurrection (Solon), St. Mary (Bedford), Grandview United Methodist (Cuyahoga Falls), and St. Hedwig (Akron).
Barbara Margolis, Music Director/Alto
Barbara Margolis, founder and director of Cantores Cleveland, has been an active soloist and choral singer in the Cleveland area for the past twenty years. She has a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Cleveland State University. Barbara also holds a Master's degree from Columbia University. She is a chorister at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Special interests include the development of interdisciplinary approaches to performance and the integration of the arts within their historical context.
Judith Overcash, Soprano
Judith Overcash is at home with a repertoire ranging from medieval song to opera and oratorio to musical theater. She holds both MA and DMA degrees in Early Music Performance Practices from CWRU, with additional graduate work at the University of Texas at Austin and the Indiana University Institute of Early Music where studied opera, music history, and theater. She has performed in the US and abroad as featured soloist with a number of leading period and modern ensembles and orchestras, as well appearing as guest artist and faculty at a variety of international workshops and festivals. In addition to appearing as a soloist, Judith is a choral director, maintains a private vocal studio, and as lecturer and adjunct faculty has taught music history, vocal pedagogy, graduate research methods and applied voice at Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, and CWRU in Cleveland. She is currently a soprano soloist/section leader at Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland, Ohio.
